A coordination meeting between Apadana Institute and Dr. Mehdi Parsaei, Acting Head of the Tourism Deputy of Fars Governorate, was held with the aim of reviewing and coordinating matters related to the organization of the International Conference on “Smart City: Challenges and Strategies.”
During the meeting, both parties discussed the importance of developing smart cities in enhancing the tourism industry, the capacities of Fars Province in this field, and the role of scientific and international events in the exchange of knowledge and experiences. Discussions were also held regarding the specialized themes of the conference, the manner of participation of executive and academic institutions, and areas for joint cooperation.
At the conclusion of the meeting, emphasis was placed on the necessity of synergy between the public and private sectors to ensure the successful organization of the conference and to achieve practical outcomes in the fields of urban management and smart tourism.
